Lets Go

    Chained to a metal trap in the middle of the frozen forest, she sat. She knew she would die, if he didn’t come to rescue her, but she also knew he would die if he did. Blood dripping from the cuts and scratches on her face, she cried. Unable to contain her anger, her blue eyes shifted to red. He was strong, but was he strong enough to take on what waited silently behind the thick green winter trees? Her stomach twisted as she heard rustling in front of her. She looked up to see him watching her from the tree line. He quickly ran over to her, ‘Chrystal.’ ‘They’re here, watching.’ She leaned towards him, ‘Go, get the hell out of here!’ The chains rattled as she struggled. 'Please, just go.' He grabbed the chains restricting her arms, 'No I'm not leaving my best friend to die.' The chains melted from her arms and she fell to the ground. 'Chrystal.' 'They want to kill you, the will kill you.' 'Come on, Chrystal.' He grabbed her hands and lifted her up.
